Uptown, an area two miles north of the Dallas city center, is where the Somerset II Apartments are located. This neighborhood is known for its eclectic and diverse mixture of people and businesses. Reverchon Park has a playground, basketball, volleyball, baseball field, and tennis courts. Robert E. Lee Park is more dog friendly. This area boosts a variety of thrift and consignment shops. There is Genesis Benefit Thrift Store, Gratitude Vintage Clothing and Dulce Interior Consignment Showplace. For new items, J. Douglas Design is a wonderful spot for high-end furniture. Grocery shopping can be done at Kroger, El Rio Grande Supermercado, Whole Foods Market, and The Uptown Farmers Market. Somerset II offers studio, one and two bedroom floor plans.
